Former Americans (Carrabbas, Blades)

This page is a salute to our former mates from teams that evolved into what is now The Americans.

The Americans began as Carrabbas in 1994. The original goal was to field a team which represented the best elements of the sport. Teamwork,Camaraderie, a love for both the game and malt beverages. Those lofty goals are still pursued by the Americans of today.

Best of luck to our most recent Alumni, Goalie Mark Yocum. Mark was called up to the 'bigs' in NY, we wish him all the best and will do our best to maintain a high level of Bud consumption to ensure his strong economic future.

Jimmy Frame. Now catchin' a wave in Corpus Christi, TX

Mitch "Ogie" Lees. Hit the love and money jackpot and headed for Austin, TX. Still in search of a good hairdresser.

Joel Petty. Seen here at the annual meeting of his fan club "Petty For Preschoolers".

Marshall Iler. Last seen looking for his shirt.

Andy "The Coroner" Koerner. A regular at the Texas Ice Stadium in Clear Lake.

Greg "FI" Russell. Sent down to the novice leagues. Now an offensive powerhouse.

Lanny and Jason Shulman. Now playing in San Diego, CA.

Harry Fleming. Now practicing law in Boston MA. His clients wish he had more practice.

Jeff Goldman. Still active in the league. Last seen with the Fig Leafs.

Doug Frame. 4-0 during his 25 day contract in Feb/March 1999.
